Do I need any additional software to use Fracture Sounds products?

Most of our products require the full version of Kontakt 5 or above. A small number of products run in the free Kontakt Player (as clearly stated on the product page). Kontakt/Kontakt Player can run as a standalone application or as a plugin in a VST/AU compatible host.

Can I use your sample libraries in the free Kontakt Player?

A small number of our products are compatible with the free Kontakt Player. These products clearly state ‘works in the free Kontakt Player’ on the product page. For all other products, you must be using the full retail version of Kontakt.

Will your libraries show up in the ‘libraries’ tab on the sidebar in Kontakt? Can I add the product to Native Access?

For the small selection of poducts which are Kontakt Player compatible (as described above), these are activated via Native Access and will appear in the libraries tab in the sidebar of Kontatk. All other libraries are ‘open format’, meaning they are delivered as NKI instruments which can be loaded directly into Kontakt. You can’t add open format products to the ‘libraries’ tab, however you can drag them to the ‘Quick Load’ panel for easy access. You do not need to use Native Access to activate these instruments.

Why does the instrument say DEMO when I load it?

You are most likely using the free Kontakt Player with a library that requires the full verison of Kontakt. More info here.

Why is the downloaded file name a series of random characters without an extension?

This is a rare bug caused by our download provider. If you add a ‘.zip’ extension, it should work fine. If not, contact us and we’ll send you a fresh download.

Do you offer physical products?

At this time, all of our products are downloads only. The box art is for illustration purposes only.

Do you collect/store any personal data when I use this site?
